The Gillett Macleod partnership was established in 1989 and has undertaken a number of residential and commercial projects ranging from single house developments to large multi unit residential schemes. The philosophy of the practice is to produce attractive designs but always with an eye to practicalities.

Currently the practice employs a fully qualified Architectural Technician, an architectural assistant and one chartered Architect (RIBA)

STAFF TRAINING AND PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT

It is the aim of the practice to encourage it's staff’s self development throughout the day. The practice also supports it's staff who attend day release courses at local educational institutions, Continuing professional development (CPD) and encourages staff to attend seminars on current topics of interest.

The practice also encourages work experience pupils from local schools to attend the office. Work experience candidates typically join during the summer months, where they are able to experience office life and see how the practice works. This tends to be done on a voluntary basis.



FUTURE AMBITIONS OF THE PRACTICE

We aim to continue to promote good design within the build environment, whilst striving to maintain a practical approach to facilitate our client’s procurement of functional buildings which will also hold a degree of light.
